A Silly Thing to Do, p. 56, is a great poem for looking at gravity. Dinosaurs, p. 38 is also great for looking at myths. A Walk with Daniel, p. 22, looks at shadows.
These books are my guilty pleasure. They have fun clues to solve along the way and are familiar.
The series is useful for descriptions of setting, Latin and Greek derived words and names and looking at adaptation. It also explores reputation, primarily through Severus Snape.
